About the Goddess:
Matres is a deity from the earliest forms of the Celtic religion. Today we know little about her but we do know she was a goddess of fertility and motherhood. Most surviving depictions of her show her as three women often breastfeeding and surround by fruit. She is an ancient symbol of the divine feminine.
